Our Engineering Construction division provides large-scale multidisciplinary project management and construction services.  Our delivery of high-quality work within the mining sector has earnt us a solid reputation and enviable relationships with some of the industry’s leading operators.  

Due to an expected increase in projects, we are seeking Welding Supervisors to join a range of construction projects across Western Australia. There are 2:1 FIFO rosters available with attractive Salary Packages, site uplifts & PCB on offer.

These prestigious multi-disciplinary projects offer long-term opportunities (2+ years) as you play an essential role contributing to the success of the projects. From the initial project startup to on-site construction and closeout, you will be involved in every aspect of the project lifecycle.

In this role, you will draw on your previous experience to:

  • Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to the workforce personnel
  • Actively monitor work practices and coach employees to ensure adherence to correct HSE policies and procedures
  • Review performance and manage any performance issues as per Monadelphous procedures
  • Communicate with client representatives to inform them on the progress of the project and resolve any issues
  • Plan and organise work to meet the projects requirements and promote productivity
  • Adhere to all site rules and inspire crew to work safely and efficiently
  • Lead a team of skilled technicians and tradespeople ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Coordinate resources, including equipment and materials, to effectively execute works
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, troubleshooting any issues that arise during installation
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project timelines and milestones, ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Communicate with client representatives to inform them on the progress of the project and resolve any issues
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Foster a culture of safety and excellence, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

What you will bring:

  • Relevant trade qualification
  • AS 1796 Certificate 10
  • Minimum 3+ years Supervisory experience ideally on major mining/resources projects working for top tier construction contractors
  •  A customer-centric mindset and strong value of safety
  • Proven leadership capabilities developing and leading a cohesive and high-performance team
  • An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations.
  • Proven track record of meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively
  • A proactive, motivated mindset and someone who thrives when working under pressure
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
