Description & Requirements
We are looking for a Senior QA/QC Inspector to join our Engineering & Construction Division. This position will commence in March 2025 on a 2:1 roster from Perth to Karratha. The duration of the project is approx 18 months. As a Senior QA/QC Inspector you will actively provide leadership and guidance to the quality team, ensuring compliance with the Monadelphous quality management systems, Customer specification, contract requirements and ISO 9001. The ideal candidate will have a CSWIP 3.2 and NACE 2 qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership to the quality team, directing quality control and sign off activities.
- Positively influencing the Quality achievement culture across the project.
- Offering advice and expertise in development and implementation of Quality systems and initiatives on site.
- Liaising with the Customer regarding any Quality matters, including identification and resolution of Non-conformances.
- Manage MDR’s from collation through to review and submission.
- Manage supplier and subcontractor quality performance.
- Completion of project quality audits.
- Coordinate the collation, review and approval of project quality deliverables.
- Managing relationships with Customers, Subcontractor and other project stakeholders.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role, with robust knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality environment.
- CSWIP Senior Welding Inspector - Level 3.2 or WTIA Certified Senior Welding Inspector (CSWI)
- PCN - Weld Inspection Level 2
- AS 2214 Welding Supervisor - Highly desirable
- AS1796 Certificate 10 - Highly desirable
- Insulation – Committee Industrial Insulation Standards (CINI) Level 2or Insulation - institute of Corrosion (ICorr) Level 2 - Highly desirable
- Internal auditor qualification and experience.
- Previous site-based experience working within an operational environment.
- A good understanding and knowledge of Welding and NDT activities; Multi discipline experience (e.g. structural, mechanical, piping, electrical & instrumentation) highly desirable.
- First class communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer facing focus.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office software packages, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
