Our Engineering Construction division provides large-scale multidisciplinary project management and construction services. Our delivery of high-quality work within the mining sector has earnt us a solid reputation and enviable relationships with some of the industry’s leading operators.

Due to recent awards we are seeking Senior SMP Project Engineers to join our major Rare Earth & O&G projects in the North & South West of Western Australia. 2:1 Roster, with attractive Salary Packages, site uplifts & PCB on offer.

As a pivotal team member, your role as Senior Project Engineer will be site-based undertaking a 2:1 FIFO roster (ex any capital city) during the construction phase. You will provide engineering services and project management support as well as providing advice, coaching and mentoring less experienced engineering staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety and quality
• Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contract
• Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required
• Lead the procurement and work pack development for the project
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to other members of the Engineering team
• Compile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are met
• Provide support to the project team and implement best practice on the project

What you will bring:

• Extensive experience in Project Engineering on large-scale resources construction projects for similar companies
• Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline
• A methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work
• Be delivery focused, with a high level of self-motivation and drive to support the project in delivering to a tight schedule
• Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
• Committed to a FIFO roster during the construction phase of the project
