As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Recruitment Specialist – Indigenous Attraction to help drive our hiring efforts and build strong, diverse talent pipelines across the business. This role is about more than filling roles, it’s about creating access, building pathways, and making a lasting impact. You’ll work across our national recruitment function to attract, engage, and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates while contributing to high-volume recruitment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Indigenous Attraction Initiatives: Drive recruitment strategies that support Monadelphous’ Indigenous employment targets, working across national vacancies to increase candidate engagement and placement outcomes
  • Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong pool of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates through proactive sourcing, community engagement, and leveraging recruitment platforms
  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across high-volume roles, from sourcing and screening through to onboarding
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and inclusive recruitment journey through clear communication, cultural awareness, and timely feedback
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with hiring managers and internal teams to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions
  • Data & Reporting: Track recruitment activity and performance against Indigenous hiring KPIs, providing insights and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the broader recruitment team to support national hiring campaigns across Energy and other operational division
What you’ll bring:
  • Passion: A genuine but realistic commitment to improving employment outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Recruitment Experience: Proven experience in high-volume recruitment, ideally within trades or blue-collar environments
  • Sourcing Capability: Demonstrated ability to build talent pipelines and engage candidates through multiple channels.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and national workforce demands.
