Monadelphous is seeking an E&I Project Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of E&I Infrastructure projects. This position will be Site based supporting the delivery of new Infrastructure works including Battery Storage, switchyard and a High Voltage distribution powerline installation works in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven E&I Project Engineer looking to jump start their career, receive mentorship and opportunity for growth and consideration in a strong pipeline of upcoming large-scale projects within Monadelphous’ Engineering Construction division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work pack development and aiding with planning, scheduling and executing the scope of work including organising project resources, equipment and materials/procurement as directed to meet project or contractual requirements
  • Identify hazards and advise on safety procedures. Actively monitor work practices to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performance
  • Provide advice, technical or functional information as required to Supervision and project staff involved in the execution of work
  • Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, client specifications, ISO requirements and Electrical regulations
  • Build and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience working in a E&I Engineering capacity, developing project/construction schedules and work packs, completing progress reporting and monitoring milestones within the mining industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Clear technical skills with demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets/construction metrics and change management
  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering
  • Solid understanding of Electrical regulations
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
