Description & Requirements

The role of HR Support Officer will see you working at our Head Offices in Victoria Park and responsible for supporting a talented HR function. You will form an integral part of the HR Administration team, tasked with delivering high quality and accurate HR data, and support to the business. Providing both query management and support to HR, and Operational functions, you will be adept at managing HR transactions, data, and process auditing. As a HR Support Officer, you will need to be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, prioritising work requirements, managing expectations, undertaking repetitious and cyclical input and extraction of HR data, and delivering on support activities. The ideal candidate will be process driven and results orientated with strong attention to detail. You will need to be able to draw from your previous experience in a similar role to enable you to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing HR transactions, including onboarding and employee set up, change of conditions, employee movements, performance management, timesheet completion, service recognition, and offboarding
  • Preparing HR letters and documentation
  • Providing advice/guidance on HR processes
  • Work closely with an offshore HR administration team to process HR transactions
  • Creation and updating of work instructions and processing
  • Managing multiple email inboxes
  • Liaison with various Teams with Group HR, including Payroll, HR Advisory, Talent Management, IT, and Recruitment
What you’ll bring:
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • A general understanding of human resource processes
  • Proactive self-starter attitude
  • Intermediate Excel skills in data analysis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in HR administration process from onboarding to offboarding (beneficial)
  • Knowledge of HR information systems; Ascender, Alesco & Avature (beneficial)
