Description & Requirements

The BHP CD4 Car Dumper Renewal Project (CD4RP) at Finucane Island involves the replacement and upgrade of critical car dumper infrastructure to improve operational reliability and throughput. 

We have a major 8-week outage shutdown commencing in September with a significant electrical and instrumentation scope involved. We are seeking suitable electricians with construction shutdown experience on a 2:1 roster until the end of October.


Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include:

  • All Purpose Casual Rate: $67.50 per hour (inclusive of any AP allowances and 25% casual loading)
  • Penalties apply after ordinary hours
  • Site allowance: $4.50 per hour flat
  • Mobilisation payment: 2 days (14.4 hours) paid at ordinary rate of pay - one off payment
  • RDO accrual 0.8/h Mon-Fri paid out upon completion 
  • 12 hour days across day and night-shift (25% nightshift loading, shift allocations: 1 week of days and 1 week of nights for nightshift)
  • Weekly pay

What you’ll bring:

  • 2 years of relevant construction experience
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
  • A-Grade WA Electrical Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Basic Fire (5-year validity)
  • First Aid (3-year validity)
  • CPR/LVR (1-year validity)
