Description & Requirements

Monadelphous is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Work Pack/Project Engineer for a major Oil and Gas construction project. This position is Perth-based and will transition to a site-based role on a 2:1 roster at a later date. The project duration is for 12+ months with plenty of opportunity for ongoing work across other projects thereafter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Workpack development and aiding with planning, scheduling and executing the scope of work including organising project resources, equipment and materials/procurement as directed to meet project or contractual requirements.
  • Provide advice, technical or functional information as required to Supervision and project staff involved in the execution of work.
  • Identify hazards and advise on safety procedures. Actively monitor work practices to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performance.
  • Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, client specifications and ISO requirements. * Build and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders.
What you’ll bring:
  • Previous experience working in a E&I Engineering capacity, developing project/construction schedules and work packs, completing progress reporting and monitoring milestones within the oil and gas industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability.
  • Clear technical skills with demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets/construction metrics and change management.
  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering.
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.
  • EEHA qualification and experience highly favourable.
