Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works. Our Energy division is looking for a Welding supervisor to support our turnaround we have scheduled in the Karratha region from September 2024.

What you will be doing:

Ensure welding activities are completed safely and meet the schedule, respecting the critical path and deadline
Allocate work and provide direction to relevant trades specific work requirements.
Supervise, coach and mentor direct reports; ensure that site workers have the necessary competencies to undertake assigned tasks.
Communicate with client representatives on a day to day basis, to plan work, keep them informed of progress, resolve any issues of concern and identify variations or additional work required.
Identify and drive cost savings and safety improvement initiatives and report on lessons learned and completion/outcomes to the business.

What you will bring:

Relevent welding certifications
Proven experience in a similar role within the Energy industry
Proficiency in the use of key Microsoft products (Word & Excel)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proof of right to work in Australia
