Description & Requirements

The role of Senior HR Advisor will see you working in our Victoria Park head office and is responsible for providing strategic and operational advice and guidance across a wide range of HR disciplines including; remuneration and benefits, employee engagement, performance management, workplace investigations, HR change management and talent management. Reporting to the Divisional HR Manager, you will be required to play an integral role within the HR team working in partnership with leaders across our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional HR advice & expertise to operating divisions to manage employee issues and to improve HR performance and management.
  • Development and delivery of functional HR services that align with business needs
  • Support the development of HR strategies, focusing on continuous improvement in line with the company's retention and development plans
  • Plan and lead key processes with the business that form part of the HR lifecycle such as employee onboarding and off boarding, remuneration and benefits reviews, performance management reviews, and talent management
  • Work closely with our Recruitment and Senior Managers on resource planning solutions, including the effective allocation of talent around the business
  • Preparing and presenting analysis of remuneration and other HR data to the business;
  • Act as a coach and mentor to colleagues within the HR Advisory team

What you’ll bring:

  • Relevant HR tertiary qualification or significant experience in a Senior HR Advisory role
  • Experience working within the Resources, and/or Infrastructure industries
  • Demonstrated success in delivering generalist HR support and advice at a senior level
  • Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • The ability to work cohesively in a team environment where you challenge the current state and look for opportunities to bring in ideas and change.
