Description & Requirements
We are currently seeking a Plant & Equipment Coordinator to join our Hire team within our Group Assets department at our corporate office in Perth. As a Plant & Equipment Coordinator you will be responsible for deploying our internal fleet to projects and coordinating external hire requirements. We pride ourselves on providing a high level of service support, expertise and ensuring site compliance to project staff, business partners and our customers. You will liaise with a range of internal personnel, suppliers and contractors to ensure all plant & equipment requirements are fulfilled to the right place at the right time.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating plant and equipment hire, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, both internal and client, and liaising with a wide range of internal stakeholders, suppliers and contractors in relation to the allocation of plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the hire of internally owned and externally sourced plant and equipment
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, both internal and client
- Build strong relationships with external hire suppliers of plant and equipment and internal personnel
- Effective communication with Project Teams ensuring their requirements are well understood and fulfilled
- Sourcing in line with external hire supply contracts
- Maintain accurate records through the use of registers
- Ensure timely delivery to meet contractual and project schedules
- Coordinate requisitions for supply, issue purchase orders to supplier and allocate invoices
What you’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of plant and equipment categories, models and specifications is highly desirable
- Experience in equipment hire is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders
