The Planning & Logistics Coordinator is a key position at the centre of operations, responsible for coordinating labour, equipment, and logistics across maintenance, shutdown, and project works to ensure seamless delivery against client and operational requirements. 

You will manage workforce rosters across multiple sites, develop mobilisation plans for major campaigns, and work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure resources, materials, and equipment are available when needed. 

The position also plays a critical role in forecasting, planning, and supporting blue-collar workforce requirements, while maintaining accurate records and continuously improving scheduling and logistics processes. It’s a fast-paced, highly collaborative role suited to someone who thrives on organisation, problem-solving, and keeping complex operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule labour, cranes, transport, and specialised equipment across maintenance, shutdown, and project works to meet operational and client requirements
  • Maintain workforce rosters for full time and casual blue collar personnel across multiple sites, ensuring labour coverage aligns with planned work fronts and delivery schedules
  • Develop and coordinate personnel, equipment, and mobilisation plans for major shutdowns, maintenance works, and project campaigns to ensure readiness for execution
  • Monitor and expedite supplier, subcontractor, and third party service provider commitments to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are delivered in line with schedule requirements
  • Liaise with maintenance and operational teams to coordinate repairs, servicing, breakdown response planning, and equipment availability to minimise disruption to works
  • Assist with labour, equipment, and material forecasting to support workforce planning, resource allocation, and upcoming work scope requirements
  • Provide coordination and technical support to recruitment, site based teams, and internal stakeholders in relation to blue collar workforce planning, logistics, ordering, and purchasing processes
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation for rosters, bookings, deliveries, receiving, and resource movements, while contributing to the improvement of scheduling, logistics, and coordination systems and processes

  • Experience within the crane & transport industry, highly desirable

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Experience with all MS Office programs and scheduling software
