Description & Requirements

We’re looking for someone as passionate as we are to join our Indigenous Engagement team focusing on the delivery of key Pathways and Engagement initiatives steered by our Strategy, the Stretch RAP, and our Partnership Agreements to ensure strong, meaningful outcomes aligned to Monadelphous’ values and those of the communities in which we operate.

In releasing our second Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan in 2022 (and fourth RAP overall), we understand the importance of continuing to embed Reconciliation through long-term strategies, defined targets and goals, and sustainable partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and businesses.

Further, we have a strong commitment to retaining and upskilling our own workforce, providing ongoing opportunities for growth and development. We aim to constantly challenge ourselves and identify sustainable employment pathways as we strive for our people to reach their full potential. A strong pipeline of work and projects means those pathways and opportunities are significant and will continue to grow.

Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include:
  • Permanent full-time or part-time
  • Based in Victoria Park, WA
  • Flexible working arrangements for work life balance
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coaching and mentoring First Nations employees participating in our Career Pathways Programs.
  • Engaging with operational managers and our people teams to hire and onboard new employees into the Program and support its ongoing delivery.
  • Working with the business, projects and customers to deliver Cultural & Community engagement solutions.
  • Working with the team in delivery of key RAP elements, as informed through our Stretch RAP and prioritised through the RAP Committee.
What you’ll bring:
  • Passion. You know how to motivate a fantastic team and embrace the difference you can make in a role such as this.
  • Communication. A demonstrated ability to liaise with a wide network of (internal and external) stakeholders and facilitate meaningful outcomes.
  • Experience. Having worked with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in a similar role or capacity.
  • Leadership. Navigating multiple initiatives with demanding timeframes, whilst identifying opportunities and pre-empting challenges.
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
