Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support both pre-contracts and operations across our Engineering Construction business unit, with a primary focus on Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) projects in WA and an emerging footprint in Gladstone.

This role will play a critical part in contractor-side contract strategy and delivery - from pretender and tender negotiations through to claims management and post-award administration - ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pre-contracts activities including pretender engagement, tender reviews, commercial qualifications and contract negotiations

• Provide contracts leadership across project execution for E&I construction scopes

• Manage head contractor-side claims, variations, EOTs and commercial risk mitigation strategies

• Partner with operations leaders to drive favourable commercial outcomes across projects

• Lead subcontract development, negotiation and administration across the lifecycle

• Provide contractual guidance to internal stakeholders across the business unit

• Ensure compliance with contract terms, governance and Monadelphous procedures

What you’ll bring:

• 10+ years’ experience in contracts/commercial roles within construction (contractor environment essential)

• Demonstrated expertise in claims, pretender and tender negotiations

• Strong background supporting construction delivery teams (ideally E&I or SMP projects)

• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, Law or similar

• Deep understanding of Australian construction contracts and commercial frameworks

• Ability to influence and partner with operational stakeholders
