Monadelphous Mining and Minerals North West is currently seeking 2x experienced Mechanical Supervisors (Mechanical Fitting) to join our growing team in Port Hedland. This role will see you leading mechanical crews across major iron ore operations, delivering high risk shutdown and maintenance works on fixed plant and bulk materials handling assets. You will play a key role in planning, supervising and executing complex mechanical changeouts, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to client specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated supervisor looking to further develop their leadership, shutdown delivery and project management skills while working with industry leading clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise mechanical fitters and shutdown crews
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with safety, quality and client requirements
Develop and review JHAs, SWIs and permits for critical works
Scope, plan and coordinate shutdown activities
Liaise with clients, planners and other supervisors to ensure smooth execution
Mentor and develop team members on site
Maintain strong safety leadership and promote a positive team culture

What you’ll bring:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mechanical supervisory role within the iron ore or mining industry
Strong background in mechanical fitting on fixed plant
Proven experience supervising shutdown and maintenance works
High commitment to safety with strong risk awareness
Experience with laser alignment equipment
Ability to scope, plan and execute complex mechanical tasks
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
A driven attitude with a desire to grow and develop professionally
