Description & Requirements

The role of IT Asset Coordinator will see you working in our head offices at Victoria Park, reporting to the IT Asset Manager. Working within the IT Asset Management team you will be responsible for managing hardware lifecycles and assisting with the forecasting of IT assets for the business. You will also be working closely with our service desk team to respond to and action requests regarding IT software and hardware assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end to end IT hardware and device lifecycle management, including PCs, mobile devices, accessories and security tokens, covering procurement, CAPEX and requisitions, allocation, tracking, repairs, replacements, audits and disposal.
  • Manage IT asset records and reporting, maintaining accurate hardware, software and licensing information across systems, supporting forecasting, monthly reporting, journaling, sub location updates and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate asset logistics and storage, including receivals, storeroom management, distribution, internal hardware audits and onsite visits as required.
  • Provide first point support for IT Asset Management enquiries, monitoring shared mailboxes and responding to business requests related to IT hardware, software and asset related services.
  • Work closely with Service Desk, vendors and internal IT teams to deliver timely and effective asset related outcomes aligned with business needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of IT Asset Management practices, including documentation, knowledge base maintenance, process improvements, catalogue updates and the adoption of new or evolving asset related processes.
