Description & Requirements

Monadelphous are seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor to join our PNG Operations team for a 9-month contract commencing December 2025, based on site in Papua New Guinea on a FIFO 4:2 roster.

We will be removing one of the world's largest piping suspension bridges, offering a once-in-a-career opportunity. As part of the project, you will collaborate with a world-class team during the deconstructability of the suspension bridge. Join us for this exciting challenge!

Reporting to the Site Manager, this position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily activities of work crews; ensuring compliance with internal, client, and legislative HSE requirements; and ensuring that the quality, production, and environmental requirements of the project are met.

What you will bring:

Australian recognised Trade Certificate
5+ years’ supervisory experience working in oil and gas or mining sectors
Structural background and IRATA qualifications (highly regarded)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience working in PNG or remote locations (highly regarded)
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a national workforce in the field
Strong attention to detail and demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines
Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
