Description & Requirements

Monadelphous are seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor to join our PNG Operations team for an 8-month contract commencing September 2025, based on site in Papua New Guinea on a FIFO 4:2 roster.

Reporting to the Superintendent, this position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily activities of work crews; ensuring compliance with internal, client, and legislative HSE requirements; and ensuring that the quality, production, and environmental requirements of the project are met.

What you will bring:

Australian recognised Trade Certificate
5+ years’ experience working with process plant piping in the oil and gas, mining or water sectors
Extensive pipe welding background and pipeline experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience working in PNG or remote locations (highly regarded)
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a national workforce in the field
Experience using digital completions systems and Utime (highly regarded)
Strong attention to detail and demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines
Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
