Description & Requirements

Following the continued growth and success of the business, we are currently seeking experienced and local Leading Hands - Civil for the Lotus Creek Wind Farm Project located between Mackay and Rockhampton, Central Queensland. We encourage applications from Rockhampton locals and those interstate. Flights and camp accommodation are provided.

The role of Leading Hand - Civil will see you carry out a wide range of tasks including:

- Overseeing day-to-day on site operations, ensuring work is completed to standard

- Managing TA's/Labourers and allocating tasks

- Monitoring compliance with safety standards requirements

- Liaising with and reporting to superintendents and construction managers, to ensure timelines and quality standards are met

- Handling any unexpected issues on-site and ensuring smooth project progress

- Daily checks and maintenance  of civil installation including fencing, formwork and many other adhoc duties as required

This is a full time opportunity on a 2/1 roster with overtime opportunities 

What you will bring:

  • Demonstrated leading hand experience ideally in a civil environment 
  • General Construction Induction card
  • Plant Operator Tickets - Bobcat / Skid Steer (highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Australian Driver’s License
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
