Our Engineering Construction division provides large-scale multidisciplinary project management and construction services. Our delivery of high-quality work within the mining industry has earnt us a solid reputation and enviable relationships with some of the industry’s leading operators. 

Due to buoyant conditions and a strong demand across iron ore, lithium, rare earth and oil and gas – we are seeking a Quality Coordinator to join our Engineering Construction Division. This role will be supporting offsite fabrication across our Engineering Construction Projects and will be based out of our Victoria Park office.

What you will bring

The Quality Coordinator provides a divisional support function, servicing EC projects in completing Quality Assurance and Quality Control tasks and coordinating and facilitating all offsite fabrication inspection activities.

Drawing on your previous experience, you will be:

• Provide quality services directly to internal & external customers
• Supports project quality compliance through the application of the Monadelphous quality management system
• Completion of quality control inspections to assess work conformance against the required criteria
• Provide mentoring and technical direction to project quality personnel as required regarding specific quality procedures and systems
• Investigate and resolve quality conformance issues
• Develop and review project quality documentation to meet requirements of; Monadelphous quality management system, governing standards and Customer specifications
• Coordinate and support the completion of handover documentation deliverables (e.g. Manufacturers Data Reports).
• Provide safety leadership within workshop and site interactions. Actively monitor work practices to identify hazards and advise on correct safety procedures

We would love to talk to you if you have:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with robust knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality environment
• Welding inspection qualification (Minimum IWI, CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent) 
• Welding supervisor Cert 10 (highly desirable)
• Coating inspection qualification (e.g. NACE 2) highly desirable
• Internal auditor qualification and experience
• Previous site-based experience working within an operational environment;
• A good understanding and knowledge of Welding and NDT activities; Multi discipline experience (e.g. structural, mechanical, piping, electrical & instrumentation) highly desirable;
• First class communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer facing focus;
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office software packages, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
