Description & Requirements

Due to continued growth we are currently seeking a highly motivated Project Accountant to join our team based in our head office in Victoria Park. You will be responsible for providing financial management support and assistance for the execution of project work.

Key Responsibilities:

Have a genuine interest, desire and ability to learn that can be demonstrated from past experience
Manipulate large data sets into usable information
Work independently and demonstrate the ability to verify your own work
Understand the relationships between systems, the data they house and the function they perform
Have a high level of excel proficiency, the ability to translate solutions into formulas and explain those solutions to those less familiar with excel
Have the ability and confidence to build good working relationships and rapport with a wide range of colleagues. E.g. Site based personnel, client representatives, back-office staff and immediate team members

What you’ll bring:

A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance (essential)
Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) (desirable or working towards)
3+ years’ experience in a similar role within the resource industry
