Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to support our Port & East Pilbara operations. The successful candidate will oversee and supervise several shutdowns in Port Headland., ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high quality
• Facilitate seamless handover procedures with the opposite shift supervisors to ensure continuity of operations
• Act as a witness for non-negative BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) tests and escalate concerns to the Superintendent as necessary.
• Conduct pre-start briefings in alignment with the information provided on the pre-start boards to ensure all team members are informed and prepared
• Provide all teams with detailed work packs containing relevant and up-to-date information for each task
• Adhere to the SWAAP (Safe Work Area Access Permit) process, ensuring the identification of Safe Areas of Work for all teams
• Review and sign off on Risk Assessments and permits for work tasks performed on site
• Maintain a regular presence at job fronts multiple times per day to oversee and support team activities
• Conduct a debrief at the end of each shift to review team performance, ensuring all personnel are in attendance
• Raise SAP notifications and approvals with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality submissions with the necessary attachments
• Lead incident investigations, following established procedures and reporting findings
• Ensure timely submission of MBE (Mechanical Breakdown Equipment) documentation as per company deadlines

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience of 2-5 years in Supervisory role
• FMG and BHP Experience is desirable
• Experience with client systems
• Shutdown experience is necessary due to the fast paced environment
• Dedication to the safety, well-being and future development of your team
• Proof of right to work in Australia
