Description & Requirements
As a Graduate Accountant, you will join our Graduate Program, a dynamic three-year journey designed to accelerate your professional development and provide you with real-world experience in both project accounting and management accounting roles. Throughout the program, you will have the opportunity to pursue a professional qualification with CA or CPA, gaining exposure to various business areas and the chance to rotate across different functions to broaden your skills.
As a Graduate, you will have:
- Ongoing support from a Commercial Manager and Graduate buddy.
- Opportunity to gain either a CA or CPA qualification.
- Receive ongoing development through structured Learning & Development modules, workshops, and courses.
- Benefit from regular catch-ups with the Graduate Team and the chance to network with peers at our annual Graduate Forum.
- Develop leadership skills and contribute to real-world projects that drive innovation within the industry.
- Rotations through various business areas, to broaden your skills and explore different career paths within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project costs, forecasting, and financial controls across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Assist in management reporting, financial analysis, and project-related documentation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for projects.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for project performance.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders for effective project financial management.
- Contribute to monthly financial reporting and business performance analysis
What you’ll bring:
- Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency.
- Must be studying or have completed an Undergraduate Accountancy Degree (Bachelor’s) in Australia.
- Previous work experience within your chosen field through internships or equivalent is highly desirable.
- A passion for the work we do and the desire to gain hands-on experience in both project and management accounting.
