Join the Monadelphous Graduate Program and embark on a dynamic journey to launch your engineering career. As a Graduate, you'll work on real projects, gaining hands-on experience in a Project Engineer role. You’ll work both on-site and in the office between projects, collaborating closely with your team to gain hands-on experience in project delivery and management.
You will gain valuable exposure to all areas of project engineering. You’ll work on large-scale projects that integrate multiple disciplines, giving you insight into how each one contributes to the overall success. This hands-on experience will help you develop a comprehensive understanding of project engineering within the resources sector.

Key Responsibilites
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Manage sub-contractors across various disciplines to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Assist in preparing project estimates, tender submissions, and developing project schedules.
- Support all phases of the project lifecycle, including tendering, planning, execution, and HSE compliance.
- Collaborate with the Operational team to ensure a team-oriented approach to project delivery.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budgets as required, ensuring effective execution.
- Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency or suitable Visa with working rights.
- Must be studying or have completed an Undergraduate Engineering degree (Bachelors) in Australia or New Zealand in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- Relevant work experience or Vacation Program are preferred
- Reside in Newcastle, Mt Thorley, Singleton area
- Previous work experience within your chosen field through internships or equivalent is highly desirable.
- A passion for the work we do and the desire to do real hands-on work in the field
