Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of upcoming projects, Melchor are actively looking for skilled Civil Estimators to join our highly experienced Pre-Contracts team. These roles will be based in our head office in Osborne Park on a permanent full time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing qualitative and quantitative data for inclusion in tenders, including obtaining relevant information/data, calculating costings and providing advice and information
- Provide expert estimating advice to the business unit and assist with compiling major tenders, proposals and expressions of interest on behalf of the division.
- Review tender documentation and calculate costings for submissions
- Develop and review tenders and proposals for quality, risk, accuracy, and completeness; responding quickly to correct problems
What you’ll bring:
- Relevant trade qualification or Engineering degree
- Relevant on-site industry experience in the civil construction industry with a strong understanding of trades and disciplines in FRP or Earthworks.
- Involved in site/project operations coupled with knowledge of relevant construction norms and industry rates
- A proven capability working for self-performing civil contractors. servicing the resources, energy or infrastructure industries
- Confident and capable user of MS Office Suite (particularly Word & Excel) and Expert Estimating software
