Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of upcoming projects, Melchor are actively looking for skilled Civil Estimators to join our highly experienced Pre-Contracts team. These roles will be based in our head office in Osborne Park on a permanent full time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Analysing qualitative and quantitative data for inclusion in tenders, including obtaining relevant information/data, calculating costings and providing advice and information
Provide expert estimating advice to the business unit and assist with compiling major tenders, proposals and expressions of interest on behalf of the division.
Review tender documentation and calculate costings for submissions
Develop and review tenders and proposals for quality, risk, accuracy, and completeness; responding quickly to correct problems

What you’ll bring:

Relevant trade qualification or Engineering degree
Relevant on-site industry experience in the civil construction industry with a strong understanding of trades and disciplines in FRP or Earthworks.
Involved in site/project operations coupled with knowledge of relevant construction norms and industry rates
A proven capability working for self-performing civil contractors. servicing the resources, energy or infrastructure industries
Confident and capable user of MS Office Suite (particularly Word & Excel) and Expert Estimating software
