Description & Requirements

We are seeking EOI from highly skilled and experienced construction Civil Earthworks & FRP Supervisors to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of exciting Major Civil construction projects across Australia. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will oversee all Civil activities, ensuring they align with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to the workforce personnel
  • Actively monitor work practices and coach employees to ensure adherence to correct HSE policies and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance, supervise workers, and monitor the quality and efficiency of the Civil work on-site.
  • Review performance and manage any performance issues as per Melchors procedures
  • Communicate with client representatives to inform them on the progress of the project and resolve any issues
  • Plan and organise work to meet the projects requirements and promote productivity
  • Adhere to all site rules and inspire crew to work safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate & Delegate work to your crew
What you’ll bring:
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Supervisory experience ideally on construction/mining/resources projects working for top tier construction contractors
  • A customer-centric mindset and strong value of safety
  • Proven leadership capabilities developing and leading a cohesive and high-performance team
  • An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations
  • Proven track record of meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality work
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively
  • A proactive, motivated mindset and someone who thrives when working under pressure
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
