Description & Requirements

Monadelphous is currently seeking experienced Rail Supervisors seeking a new challenge to join our NSW Operations team on a permanent basis.

We are looking for candidates who are experienced with Track Maintenance and or Rolling stock maintenance. This role is based from our Newcastle office and will see you working across multiple sites in the Hunter Valley and occasionally interstate.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Planning, coordinating and supervising daily activities of work crews.
  • Ensure compliance to relevant Safety Management System, Client specifications and standards.
  • Ensure regular servicing, minor and preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment is performed to ensure maximum equipment availability.
  • Ensure all work is on schedule to required quality & client specifications.

What you will bring:
  • Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience in Rail & Track Maintenance.
  • Cert III in Rail Infrastructure qualifications including Track Certifier and Inspection competencies (A & D elective groups).
  • Rolling Stock Maintenance operations experience.
  • Experience in effective planning, scheduling, management of personnel, resources and equipment to meet project requirements.
  • Substantial leadership, people management and negotiation skills.
  • Sound level of problem solving analytical and quality improvement skills.
  • A proven track record in effective health and safety management on site.
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.
