Description & Requirements

Monadelphous are seeking an experienced Estimator/Planner to join the Newcastle Operations team based on site, Monday to Friday on a permanent basis.

Some key responsibilities include:

Prepare and submit quotes and tenders for both fixed price and schedule of rates contracts.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather necessary inputs for accurate pricing and scope definition.
Support the team in planning awarded works, including scheduling, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to develop work plans and ensure readiness for execution.

What you will bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical/ Civil) OR Trade qualifications in a related area (desired)
Relevant on-site industry experience in the resources, engineering or construction industry.
Proven experience providing detailed tender stage level works methodology for submissions
Proficiency in tendering, structural, mechanical, fabrication, building maintenance.
The ability to use and produce schedules, Gantt charts (Microsoft project)
The ability to complete all aspects of tender request documentation.
A methodical approach including good time management, detail oriented, organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
Proof of right to work in Australia.
