Zenviron have an opportunity available for an experienced CFO to join their team based in the Newcastle Head Office. 

Reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible for driving operational and financial discipline across all business units. This role calls for a leader who can cultivate strong client relationships and work closely with the leadership team, as they strategically accelerate business growth. The ideal candidate will be able to engage directly with customers, going beyond traditional executive support to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

Relocation package available.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Lead financial management and strategy, capital management, and commercial governance across the organisation.
  • Mentor and lead a capable finance team.
  • Partner closely with operational leaders, bringing financial insight to operational strategy.
  • Ensure the business is hitting financial and operational targets, instilling discipline, and rigour in reporting, with clear visibility of budgets and forecasts.
  • Board level financial reporting and communications.
  • Supporting long-term growth initiatives through partnering on strategy with the business.

What we are looking for:

  • CA/CPA (or equivalent) with tertiary qualifications in commerce, accounting, or business. MBA or equivalent strategic training advantageous.
  • Ideally, previous experience in undertaking a company secretary role.
  • Proven experience in senior finance/operational leadership roles, ideally in renewables, construction, engineering.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience analysing operational performance and holding leaders accountable.
  • A history of instilling financial discipline and operational rigour in growing businesses.
  • Strategic thinker with strong presence and credibility.
