Description & Requirements

Monadelphous is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Site Managers to join our NSW Operations on a permanent basis. 

We are looking for people with strong experience in the energy sector, with preference for those who have worked in coal fired or gas fired power stations.

As a Site Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading project delivery across the business, overseeing estimating, planning, execution and close out activities. You’ll be responsible for driving safe, high quality and efficient outcomes, leading onsite teams and working closely with project personnel to ensure seamless delivery. With strong client relationships at the core of this role, you’ll act as a key site representative, maintaining open communication and ensuring projects meet expectations while supporting continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities include
  • Developing and managing client relationships in relation to specific contracts, people and future business opportunities
  • Liaising with supplier representatives and third-party contractors
  • Foster and manage relationships and negotiations with customers and contractors to ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Manage risk as applied to sites including quality, communication, environmental, organisational and site -specific (schedule, budget, etc) risk
  • Ensure sound financial management processes including budget forecasting, cost control, analysis and reporting and takes action to maximise profitability.
  • Driving the Monadelphous safety culture within the team and partnered contractors

What you will bring 

  • Site based experience within the energy sector 
  • Coal fired and/or gas fired power station experience (highly desirable) 
  • Trade qualification or Cert IV in a relevant discipline (highly regarded) 
  • Strong working knowledge of trades and project operations 
  • Proven leadership capability with the ability to motivate and influence teams 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills 
  • A commitment to safe work practices and high performance culture
