Description & Requirements

Monadelphous is seeking experienced Welders/Fabricators to join our Project and Mobile Maintenance team at Mount Thorley in the Hunter Valley NSW.

This is a permanent workshop-based position offering the chance to step into leading hand responsibilities with shutdown opportunities when required.

About the Role :
• Permanent full-time position with leading hand duties and allowances
• Monday to Friday lifestyle roster – 8 to10 hour days
• Based at our Mount Thorley workshop (Singleton region)
• Shutdown opportunities available 
• Ongoing training and development - We want you to reach your potential, we’d like to help you get there.

Scope of works will include (but not limited to) :
• Fabrication and structural work across steel and aluminium structures
• Beams, handrails, flooring, platework, guards
• Structural repairs to mining and industrial equipment

What You'll Bring :
• Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade and Certificate of Proficiency
• Strong workshop experience in steel fabrication and boilermaking
• Ability to pass a structural weld or fabrication competency test
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Full working rights in Australia
• Local to the Hunter Valley, NSW. 
• Previous leading hand or supervisory experience (or the ambition to step up)
• A commitment to safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship
