Zenviron are seeking a highly motivated Civil / Structural Project Engineer for large-scale Battery Storage Energy projects located in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria.

If you are an experienced and driven Civil / Structural Project Engineer, who wants to be a part of key growth across the renewables sector, come and join the inclusive and high performing Zenviron team.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Engineering Team to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety, and quality
  • Lead the work pack development for the project
  • Review project documentation and raise technical queries related to the project
  • Provide engineering/technical support and advice to on-site Supervision and project staff involved in the execution of works
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
  • Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, based on customer and ISO requirements
  • Assembling and maintaining project documentation and quality records for the project ensuring completeness and accuracy

What we are looking for:
  • An Australian recognised, tertiary qualification in Engineering
  • Demonstrable experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) (strongly preferred)
  • Demonstratable experience in civil substation construction, including; substation configuration, bulk earthworks, structures, earthing, cable reticulation (strongly preferred).
  • Site based industry experience as a Project Engineer within the substation, renewable energy or construction industry
  • Excellent written and technical skills and a confident user of MS Office Suite
  • An innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Clear and engaging communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Driven commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • Proof of right to work in Australia

To be successful in this role you will require well-developed interpersonal skills to assist you in building effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, whilst you will demonstrate a team orientated approach to work and commitment to continuous improvement.
