Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Work Pack / Completions Engineer to join our PNG operations team on a full time basis. This role will see you working in the Brisbane Office and assisting with our Papua New Guinea projects. Although based in Brisbane, travel to site will be a key component of this role.

 

Key Responsibilities include

  • Interface with operations, maintenance, engineering, outside vendors and subcontracted personnel to obtain specific information in relation to offshore maintenance completion requirements
  • Prepare project completion dossiers covering all required completion deliverables for both SMP and E&I
  • Ensure all construction and test procedures required for compliant project handover are made available in the digital execution pack prior to construction start
  • Reporting activity status (schedule management)
  • Support digital completions tool development

What you will bring

  • Experience working in mining and oil and gas industries
  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate or Engineering Degree
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Written and verbal communication skills along with developed analytical and planning skills
  • Ability to use initiative and prioritise workload
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Prior experience with developing and implementing pre-commissioning management plans, then monitoring and seeing through to completion
  • Experience in interpreting engineered drawings (Isometrics, P&ID’s, Equipment Lists etc)
  • Experience with punch listing, E&I completions and SMP completions
  • Experience developing multi discipline construction work packs
  • Excellent computer literacy and competency
  • Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
