Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works.

 

The role of Senior Estimator will see you based in our Milton office, and responsible for estimating works for oil and gas, as well as mining projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned estimating professional to showcase their skills and make a significant impact on our Maintenance & Industrial Services division here on the East Coast. You will utilise your ability to scope the work, manage the full estimate, and assist in the planning of the project delivery.

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated experience of design / engineering construction estimating
  • Formal trade or engineering background in a construction environment
  • Experience estimating across E&I, SMP & Civil disciplines
  • Strong commercial acumen with advanced computer literacy and organisational skills
  • A skillset that can successfully lead and compile all estimate inputs into one master estimate
  • Experience providing inputs to Risk and Opportunity reviews
  • Experience contributing to management reviews, including the confidence and ability to present estimates to senior management
  • Highly developed communication skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Intermediate MS Word and MS PowerPoint skills
  • The ability to prepare detailed Basis of Estimate documents
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.
