Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Cost Engineer to join our Maintenance and Industrial Services division on a full-time basis. This role will be based in the Brisbane Office Monday to Friday, with the occasional requirement for site visits to Papua New Guinea.

Key responsibilities include:

• Subcontractor claim management
• Monitor and report project costs
• Monitor purchase orders and deliveries
• Client invoicing
• Internal reporting
• Cost and budget tracking
• Lead a small team (1-2 reports)

What you will bring

• Australian recognised Engineering degree
• Experience working in a Cost Engineering role in the resources sector
• Proficient user of MS Office Suite (including Excel)
• Experience using cost management systems, JDE and SAP
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work produced
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills and demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines
• Previous experience leading a small team
• Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
