We are looking for a highly motivated HSE Advisor to join our Vic Operations Team, focusing on delivering essential HSE support at one of our outages in the Latrobe Valley.

Key Responsibilities include:

Providing HSE advice and support to the project team
Conducting HSE audits, inspections, investigations and training/awareness sessions
Upholding and communicating HSE standards, taking action to ensure 'The Safe Way is The Only Way' and implementing strategies to improve HSE performance
Assisting with the implementation of the HSE Management System and maintaining HSE registers
Liaising and providing support to the project to ensure compliance with relevant HSE laws, regulations, company policies and guidelines

What you will bring

Experience within Victorian region highly desirable but not essential.
Certificate IV qualification is essential.
Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation, and industry standards combined with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods.
A proactive, motivated mindset and someone who thrives when working under pressure.
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
Proof of right to work in Australia.
