Monadelphous

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our VIC Operations team who are based in Morwell, Victoria.

You will be responsible for estimating and planning for sustaining capital projects and shutdown maintenance works, whilst also heavily involved in the compilation of tenders and proposals, including lump sum and long-term service contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing tender documents and responding to EOI’s whilst ensuring suitability against company assessment tools to mitigate potential risks

• Liaising with clients and suppliers to obtain information pertaining to submissions

• Compiling estimates of man-hours and materials including cost calculations

• Participating in pre-award negotiations with the Tender Manager and relevant Area/Project Managers

• Undertaking job handover to the project team and ensure that all information required to complete the work efficiently to customer requirements is provided

• Developing and sustaining effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience.

• High level of interpersonal and communication skills.

• Methodical approach including good time management, detail oriented, organisational skills.

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering OR Trade qualifications in a related area

• Commitment and dedication to safety.

• Relevant on-site industry experience in the resources, engineering or construction industry. Understanding of trades and disciplines involved in site/project operations.

• Proof of right to work in Australia
