We are looking for a highly motivated HSE & Compliance Advisor to join our Mackay Operations Team on a permanent basis.

In the role of HSE & Compliance Advisor, you’ll provide hands-on support across multiple projects and sites. You’ll be instrumental in driving safety performance, ensuring compliance, and building strong relationships with our teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities include:

Deliver HSE advice and support across various sites
Promote and uphold HSE standards and initiatives
Ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures
Facilitate inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
Occasionally travel to remote sites as needed
Foster strong client relationship

What you will bring

Previous field experience within the mining industry
Dragline and Shutdown highly desirable.
Certificate IV in OHS and/or Environmental (essential)
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (preferred)
Solid knowledge of Australian HSE and mining legislation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
Proof of right to work in Australia
A proactive, adaptable mindset and a passion for safety
