Description & Requirements

Monadelphous are seeking an experienced E&I Planner to join our Gladstone Operations based on Curtis Island QLD for a 12 month fixed term contract, with opportunity for extension. This role will see you working 8 hours per day Monday to Friday, and periodically (as per shutdown requirements) extended hours including weekends / night shifts.

Reporting to the Maintenance and Reliability Lead, the Maintenance & Reliability Planner (E&I) is a broad role responsible for the development and detailed planning of Major Maintenance scopes for the APLNG Downstream Facility, specifically around Electrical, Instrument and Control.

Key responsibilities include
  • Drive governance of the M&R Major Maintenance preparation process, ensuring scope readiness prior to execution
  • Develop clear, executable plans for major maintenance E&I scopes, including detailed SAP orders and job packages
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for scope-based queries from the broader business unit
  • Ensure safety is prioritized throughout planning, execution, and close-out
  • Validate and report progress on overall planning and job package deliverables
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency in execution

What you will bring
  • Cert III in Electro Technology, Cert III in Instrumentation, EEHA Certification and a current Electrical License recognised by the Queensland Electrical Licensing Board
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry in Operations (highly regarded)
  • Demonstrable experience using SAP for maintenance planning and work order processes
  • High exposure to work management systems and processes
  • Understanding of HAZID, JHA, and other risk mitigation processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
