Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works. Monadelphous has been a part of the Central Queensland community for 40 years, providing vital jobs to locals and those who consider Gladstone home.


We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Welding Supervisor with Cert 10 qualification to join our Gladstone Operations on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed safely, on schedule and to client specifications. You will be managing, implementing and monitoring quality systems, training and qualifying welding personnel and supervising/conducting inspections of welding activities.

What you will bring
  • Must hold current Weld Australia Welding Supervisor AS1796 Certificate 10.  
  • Previous experience working in a similar role preferably in Alumina or other continuous processing plant.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of the organisation. 
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Experience in effective management of personnel, resources and equipment to meet Project requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
