Description & Requirements

We are currently seeking a local Vegetation Management Technician. In this role you will be responsible for delivering maintenance support to our client on Curtis Island, Gladstone.

What you will bring
  • ACDC Licence/ ACDC Competency (preferred)
  • Chainsaw Operation Competency
  • Demonstrated experience within the maintenance industry
  • EWP licence, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces training (highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence (4WD experience desirable)
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
Skills & Experience: 
  • Experience in vegetation management in industrial or hazardous facilities.
  • Knowledge of herbicide selection and safe application. 
  • Ability to interpret vegetation scopes, risk assessments and environment controls. 
  • Strong hazard identification and safety awareness.
