About The Role
We are in search of experienced Pipewelders to join our shutdown team based in Gladstone, Central Queensland. You will play a vital role in an Alumina Refinery shutdown, specifically focusing on Digestion Units 1&2 and Units 3&4. We encourage applicants from Gladstone locals and those interstate. There are various rosters on offer including day and night shift with an opportunity for overtime. Flights and accommodation provided.
Units 1&2: ASAP start for approximately 4 weeks
Units 3&4: Monday 19th August for approximately 4 weeks

What you will bring
- Prior experience in shutdown environments, preferably within Alumina or similar continuous processing plants
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Fabrication (essential)
- Ability to pass a 6G Weld Test - GTAW/FCAW, GTAW, MMAW
- Working at Heights Training (within 2 years) (essential)
- Confined Space Entry Training (within 2 years) (essential)
- Gast Test Atmospheres (within 2 years) (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Proof of right to work in Australia
