Description & Requirements

Monadelphous is seeking multiple Coatings Supervisors to provide support on the Shell CRUX project. This role will see you provide supervision support to our offshore coating team, by ensuring activities are performed safely and in line with the project schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise blasting and painting crews to execute scope to defined schedules and productivity targets
Oversee surface preparation standards, environmental controls and coating application procedures
Coordinate inspections (profile, cleanliness, DFT) and rectify defects to meet specification
Conduct risk assessments, prepare and ensure permits are correct for tasks
Maximise time in field – safety talks and interactions with crews; provide advice and support to the planning team

What you’ll bring:

Proven Coating Supervisor experience in Oil & Gas, energy or heavy industrial sectors
Understanding of coating systems, blasting/painting equipment and QA requirements
NACE Level 2
ICorr certification is advantageous
Experience delivering coatings during shutdowns/turnarounds on offshore assets
More than 5 years relevant experience within the Australian Oil and Gas sector
Current BOSIET, CA-EBS, Escape Chute Training and MSIC
Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
