Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works.

 

Monadelphous is seeking a Quality Coordinator for a permanent opportunity based in our Chinchilla branch, Qld. Reporting to the Manager - CSG, this role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the Monadelphous Quality Management policy, system, and strategies throughout Central QLD. 

 

Responsibilities include

  • Actively communicating and contributing towards a positive quality culture
  • Providing quality assurance support to the project teams
  • Maintaining QA/QC systems and procedures
  • Creating work packs and job scheduling
  • Communicating job status with the Branch Manager, CSG Manager, and Quality / Welding Manager
  • Developing and implementing quality deliverables such as Inspection and Test Plans, Field Inspection Check sheets and welding related documentation
  • Coordinating the management of non-destructive testing activities
  • Preparing MDR’s
  • Issuing Non-Conformance Reports and Field Discrepancy Reports

What you will bring

  • Australian recognised trade certificate
  • Australian recognised Welding Inspector Certificate
  • NACE Level 1 Certificate and experience working with HDPE piping (highly regarded)
  • Previous experience working in the resources sector in a quality role
  • An understanding of quality systems, processes, audits and general requirements for the construction and maintenance industries, including ISO:9001 and its application
  • The ability to obtain relevant information, identify key issues and relationships, compare data from different sources and identify cause-effect relationships
  • Well-developed communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • A motivated and proactive approach to quality management and reporting
  • A clear commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
