Description & Requirements

Monadelphous are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Queensland Operations on a 6 month contract commencing early 2025.

This position will see you working Monday to Friday, based in Brisbane during pre and post outage, and on a continuous roster arrangement during the outages, based in Regional QLD.

Key Responsibilities of the role include but not be limited to:
  • Provide leadership for personnel and the Customer’s third party contractors in the successful completion of the ST inspection / shutdown
  • Ensuring all works comply with the Health and Safety Management Plan
  • Ensuring all works comply with the Quality Management Plan
  • Raising technical requests for related matters from the technical support team
  • Provide detailed solutions for any non-compliance found on the equipment including technical solutions, duration of rectification, parts requirements, labour and external resources required
  • Report writing and meeting management
  • Managing the overarching requirements of the Contract

What you will bring
  • Site based maintenance/shutdown experience in the Power station sector.
  • Extensive experience with the ABB Turbine/Generator type or similar.
  • Planning, preparation and execution of ST B/C inspection and HP, IP and LP valve servicing.
  • Australian recognised trade certificate or cert 4 in relevant disciplines (highly regarded).
  • Excellent working knowledge of trades and disciplines involved in project operations.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent people and leadership skills including the ability to facilitate collaboration between teams, whilst working autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
