We provide significant heavy lift and transport capability based on an owned-and-operated heavy crane fleet and specialist equipment. Supported by a specialist team in the heavy lift department, we can engineer, plan and execute large scale lifting and transport projects in Australia. Due to exponential growth, we are seeking a motivated and positive Rigging Testing & Inspection Facility Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the rigging stores
Ensure all personnel are trained and authorised and only utilise and comply with approved inspection and testing procedures to carry out work activities
Ensure all company rigging and lifting equipment conforms to the required Australian and Company standards
Assist in the forecasting of future rigging equipment requirements
Track all rigging and lifting equipment to ensure current locations are correct and that rigging and lifting equipment is traceable
Liaise with multiple personnel - Suppliers, sub-contractors, management, internal / external customers
Monitor improvements to Quality Management System through audit results, quality objectives and requirements for services
Ensure all rigging and lifting equipment is stored in the correct manner
Technically review and authorise inspection and/or test reports and certificates detailing the outcome of inspection and testing activities

What you’ll bring:

5 years’ experience within the rigging and lifting hardware supply and inspection industry
Experience in managing and supervising other technicians and trade assistants
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Well organised, able to resolve problems and operate efficiently under pressure
